The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Manager, CCSG Support. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing SCCC's National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation by supporting the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) renewal and maintenance processes. As a dedicated and critical member of the CCSG administrative team, the successful candidate will lead the organization, coordination, and communication efforts that ensure seamless execution of the CCSG application and compliance with NCI guidelines. Additionally, the role will involve supporting the oversight and implementation of SCCC’s strategic plan to align with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Grant Administration & Coordination
- Lead and manage CCSG application renewal and maintenance workflows, ensuring compliance with the most recent NCI guidelines.
- Identify and resolve barriers to CCSG implementation by developing actionable solutions and ensuring timely execution.
- Oversee and coordinate information and data collection for required annual reports, project milestones, and ad hoc requests, ensuring clarity, consistency, and conformance to NCI submission requirements.
Strategic Planning Support
- Collaborate with leadership to oversee the implementation of SCCC’s 5-year strategic plan, ensuring alignment with CCSG goals and NCI requirements.
- Track the progress of strategic initiatives, providing updates and recommendations to enhance efficiency and impact.
- Facilitate coordination among teams to support the successful execution of strategic priorities.
Communication & Collaboration - Work closely with other members of the SCCC Research Administration team, ensuring consistent and transparent communication.
- Create and manage timelines and deliverables, distributing key updates to stakeholders.
- Provide communication and logistical support for all CCSG-related meetings and annual retreats, tracking action items and facilitating follow-ups.
Content Development & Review
- Develop, review, and ensure clarity and accuracy of all CCSG-related materials, including presentations, figures, and tables.
- Oversee the preparation of key reports required to maintain NCI designation, such as RPPRs, EAB documentation, and information requested by the SRO.
- Ensure materials adhere to NCI submission requirements for readability, consistency, and compliance.
Project Management
- Support all CCSG meetings by tracking action items, facilitating completion, and providing a solid communication channel linking SCCC leadership to all critical CCSG activities.
- Work with SCCC leaders to provide support to ensure the continued completion of action plans strategically aligned with the CCSG mission.
- Prioritize projects based on deadlines, resource requirements, and impact to SCCC's mission.
- Coordinate with internal teams and departments to ensure the timely completion of action plans aligned with the CCSG's strategic goals.
(Essential) Preferred Experience & Additional Skills:
- Hold an advanced degree or cancer center experience
- Have basic knowledge of cancer center research (CCSG)
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Experience with Strategic Planning
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments with competing deadlines is required, as well as evidence of problem-solving and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective interactions within cross-functional teams and with external customers.
